Alexander Thalassus, The Watcher, is designed with the purpose of leading the Guides of the Deep, along with observing the movements of the Great Old One within the Great Deep. The Watcher sports patches of rigid carapaces on his body, with an appearance evocative of Neptune. He totes an intimidating, commanding presence. He wields the legendary trident Wave. It is noted that his passive magical emanation deters Aberrations.Alexander is aloof and detached, preferring to keep to himself. He is stoic and independent to a fault, often communicating when absolutely necessary. His words often come off as domineering. However, he has repeatedly shown compassion and care for his kind and, especially, his siblings.

Aoidia Thalassus, The Songstress, takes the form evocative of a Siren, with a pair trailing squid-like tentacles and large webbings between said appendages and her body. Gifted a beautiful voice, The Songstress sings the tales of the Guides, which echo through the seas. She is able to communicate and command all manner of sea life from her voice alone, and possesses potent magic above that.To note, The Songstress is able to remember and perfectly replicate any song just by hearing it once.Aoidia is otherwise extremely quiet, often talking in song if she spoke physically. Instead, she prefers to communicate telepathically. She is incredibly doting to her younger siblings, and has especially taken a liking to The Wayfarer. She is benevolent and kind-hearted, but is feared by travelers due to her resemblance to the much more dangerous Siren.

Theoi Thalassus, The Acolyte, resembles a tall sea elf characterized by wearing a coral-crowned veil, with patches of hard, black scales spread throughout his body. The Acolyte rarely carries out his duties as a Guide, defaulting more to communing with the Pantheons for divinations and requests for divine intervention. He has taken a remarkable liking to Susanoo-no-Mikoto.Theoi often breaks into religious sermons when talked to, singing the gospels of the Gods. Despite his ramblings, he fashions himself as helpful and compassionate, as per verbatim, in the name of God. His fixation towards the deities, however, does not tread forcefulness, but instead aims to guide his peers into the correct course of action.

Odysseus Thalassus, The Warrior, sports a stature even more imposing than The Watcher, resembling a anthropomorphic shark covered in solid carapace. The Warrior is considered the strongest of the Thalassa Series in terms of raw physical combat, said to rival even the best of combatants of the lands. The Warrior is notably more aggressive than his siblings, never hesitating to lunge if one strays too close. He seems to personally train the Guides in combat.Odysseus may be quick to anger, but he is quicker to move to tears, and even quicker to burst into laughter. An extremely hearty man, loving the Guides and any new friend as if they were part of his rippling flesh. He is, however, not particularly intelligent, nor has he made an effort to improve upon that fact. Despite so, he has (begrudgingly) applied advice from The Scholar in battle several times.

Pythias Thalassus, The Scholar, is a reclusive member of the Thalassa Series. She is the most intelligent member of the Guides, and leads the research efforts to learn more of the Guides' origins. She is currently the only person who can decipher and operate the mysterious machinery left behind by the civilization that birthed them. Sightings are rare, but reports all indicate her ability to shoot corrosive ink, and that she bears tentacles. Notably, Pythias has the strongest resistance to the Great Old One's influence among the Thalassa series, being able to spend extended periods of time in the trench, home to the ruined Atlanta.Pythias is the stereotypical smart, but shy type, unable to find it in herself to even strike up a mental conversation with Aoidia. However, she seems to be able to get over this trait when speaking about her research, as that was how she and Einalioi had bonded.

Einalioi Thalassus, The Wayfarer, is the most widely-known member of the Thalassa Series, and the one responsible to spread the word of the Guides' existence to the wider world. Created for the purpose that she has continually fulfilled, The Wayfarer was made without the ability to breathe underwater in-mind. In spite of that, she has found ways to join her brethren in the sea once more, and has been making efforts to make the Guides a tighter-knit group.See more here:
Scotus Thalassus, The Seeker, is the latest and most elusive member of the Thalassa Series. Specializing in espionage, The Seeker is exceptionally good at hiding and watching from the shadows. Reports of hostile encounters denote the ability to climb, and a deadly venom of which he coats his weapons with. The Seeker aims to find more information on the civilization that birthed the Guides in the wider world, but is scarcely encountered despite his footprint.Scotus presents himself as cryptic and standoffish, sometimes even comically so. Despite his attempts to play up this character to fit his role, he is, in essence, an otherwise socially awkward man. Pythias notes that despite their frequent contact, they never talk much, albeit from a place of mutual understanding. Much to his chagrin, he is frequently teased by Odysseus and Einalioi. He is good-hearted at core, however, and has displayed an attachment to Aoidia.

Amathia Thalassus, The Vessel, is the final dormant member of the Thalassa Series. Not much is known about her as she has yet to emerge from her Womb. However, research logs detailing her creation suggest that she is designed to plunder some of the power from the Great Old One, serving as a living dampener to its immense psychic influence. So far, only Pythias, Einalioi, and Scotus interacted with Amathia. The three describe her as mischievous, yet extremely sweet and loveable. Her face and voice are not very expressive, but her body language is described to be particularly active.
